What are the requirements to be considered for a position?

What happens if you are selected for the position?

  • In response to the financial challenge, the company has suspended promotional pay forthis postinguntil further notice. Once the financial challenge is met, we will review pay against the pay range taking into consideration factors such as internal equity, prior work experience, etc. Any pay adjustments at that time will not be retroactive. Federal, State and Local taxes are not taken into consideration when evaluating a potential offer.

How to manage the transition to your new role?

  • You work with your current and new leader to determine a start date in your new position. Typically, this transition occurs in 2-3 pay cycles, but longer transition times can occur due to current business unit needs.
  • You should speak with your new leader about your primary storm assignment in your new role.

Job Summary
    Perform the functions necessary to carry out the requirements of 10CFR50 Appendix B criterion V, VI and XVII and other regulatory requirements with minimal supervision. Provide control of issuance of documents and changes thereto, it ensures documents are approved for release and are distributed to locations where activities are performed. Provides the collection, maintenance, storage, retention, and retrieval of records that furnish evidence of activities affecting quality.
Key Accountabilities
  • Maintains physical environment of QA records storage facilities including monitoring temperature/humidity HVAC and Measure and Testing Equipment, ensuring security of records, logging of physical environment conditions, escorting visitors into QA records storage facilities, and ensuring proper storage location and condition of files. Performs destruction or other disposition of records that have met retention requirements. Maintains storage facility for non-QA records. Moves boxes of records from one location/facility to others.
  • Performs data entry to ARMS/WebARMS including entry, verification of information, correcting information, establishing new file categories, etc. Maintains hard copy and electronic files. Prepares and distributes information. Operates copier, scanning, drawing, folding machines.
  • Stores, protects and works with Confidential and Safeguard documents. Performs maintenance on elements of ARMS database structure, such as table maintenance, etc.
  • Operates information retrieval equipment including ARMS database retrieval and use of microfilm/microfiche readers. Investigates and collects information. Searches and refers to various records, forms, reports, systems for desired information. Maintains and updates various records and work progress reports; verifies accuracy and completeness of records. Verifies that records, forms, database input/output or other items are accurate and in proper order.
  • Operates scanning and microfilm equipment to scan drawings and documents.
  • Establishes new file categories or new filing systems. Indexes material for filing; checks files for misfiled, outdated, missing materials.
  • Maintains records for design documents, folders, or other items removed from files or storage.
  • Must be able to establish goals. Often assigned to multiple tasks with conflicting schedules. Must be flexible and able to shift priorities, working to very tight deadlines with little or no margin for error. Under direction of work leader or supervisor, tests computer programs as revisions are made to existing programs or new programs are created.
  • Participates in Records Management and/or Document Control self
  • assessment teams. Assists Nuclear Quality Assurance through participation on Audit Team.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • Three years' experience in Nuclear Generation document control and/or records management environment
Other Qualifications
  • Must work shifts as assigned.
  • Must be able to accept assignment in the Emergency Response Organization for Fermi Computer Skills: Word processing, scanning, and spreadsheet software.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels, communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Communicates well both verbally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of regulatory 1OCFR50 App. B, ANSI N45.2.91974, Reg Guide 1.88, ANSI/ANS 3.21982, and NFPA232 and corporate standards applicable
